This was taken right at dusk, as the sun dropped into the Pacific. The sky was fading fast, but the beach held on to a little warmth. A few surfers were still out, silhouetted in that final light. Everything was slowing down. Quiet, soft, almost weightless. I caught the moment and then stayed to watch the last of the evening light.
